Description
his patient in her 20s previously broke her nose. This left a slight bump on the left side of her nose. In addition, she felt her tip was a little wide. We performed an open rhinoplasty where the fractured nasal bone, seen best on the right oblique, was rasped down. We also performed INTERdomal sutures to bring the tip of her nose a little closer together. The changes are subtle but exactly what she wanted. On the frontal view and the above view, you can see the tip of the nose is a little more refined and the bump on the left nasal bone now has a smooth contour. The improvement in the bump is best seen on the oblique view.
