Rhinoplasty Case 37

Gender
Female
Age
20's

Description

This patient in her later 20s was bothered by the width of her nasal tip. She wanted more refinement. She does have thicker nasal skin which limits how much refinement she can achieve and still breathe. To balance the two, she underwent an open rhinoplasty with a very slight removal of a bony and cartilaginous hump, a cephalic trim of her lower lateral cartilages, INTRAdomal sutures to refine the tip, a columellar strut graft to improve her tip support, and INTERdomal sutures. In the after photo from below you can see how her nasal tip went from a boxy appearance to more pyramidal. From the frontal view you can see how the tip of her nose is narrowed, yet she can still breathe perfectly.
