Description
This patient in her mid 30s had previous trauma to the nose. This left the nose deviated to the right with septal deviations, and a twisted nasal tip. She also was bothered by the dorsal hump. She underwent a septoplasty to improve her breathing as well as a rhinoplasty. The rhinoplasty included taking down her dorsal hump, cephalic trim of the lower lateral cartilage, a unilateral right sided osteotomy to help reposition the deviated nasal bones, and sutures of the nasal tip to improve the symmetry. In the after photos you can appreciate the improvement in appearance but notices how her mouth is now closed as she can finally breathe out of her nose.
