This patient in her 50s had a nasal fracture twice before. This left her with almost no airflow on the left side of her nose. It also left a depression just below her nasal bones where her upper lateral cartilage began on the left side. To improve her breathing a septoplasty was performed. To improve the appearance, the fractured bones were trimmed rasped) and an onlay crushed cartilage graft was placed over her left upper lateral cartilage. A very slight cephalic trim was performed to help refine her nasal tip ever so slightly. In the after photo she is 9 months out. The most telling photo is the oblique where you no longer see the depression or the appearance of prominent nasal bones.
