Direct Neck Lift Case 3

Gender
Male
Age
60's

Description

This patient in his 60s was bothered by his neck. He exercised regularly but the hanging skin made him feel overweight. Given his active lifestyle, he wanted minimal downtime. Therefore, we performed what is called a direct neck lift. In this procedure, the skin is removed directly from the front of the neck with a Grecian style urn incision pattern. The after photo is taken 3 months later and you can see how much better his neck looks. His incision on the front of his neck is still pink as part of the healing process, but once it completely heals it becomes a very difficult incision to see as the shadow cast from the chin traditionally covers it.
