Description
This patient in her teens was bothered by her hump on her nose and the width of her tip. In addition, she had functional issues with breathing both from a deviated septum and collapse of the lateral nasal walls when she breathed in. Dr. Guy performed a rhinoplasty including removing a dorsal hump, trimming of the caudal septum to elevate her hanging columella, and INTRA and INTERdomal sutures to narrow the tip. From a functional standpoint she had a septoplasty and placement of bilateral alar batten grafts to support her nasal sidewalls. In the after photo, she cannot control her smile as she is so happy. What you can appreciate is the hump is gone, the tip is narrower, and the columella is in a better position. Her breathing is also excellent.
