Description
This patient had a very large skin cancer removed from her right cheek by a Mohs’ surgeon. This left a large portion of her cheek missing. Dr. Guy performed a cervicofacial advancement flap. This involved making several incisions to rotate the lower part of her cheek and the area in front of her ears to close the defect. Although the incisions are still pink, once they heal these locations blend very nicely and are difficult to notice.
