This patient in her late 40s had a history of cystic acne. Unfortunately, one of those left a deep indentation on her right cheek. In the before photo, it looks like a discolored area but that is an actual depression in the skin. She underwent fat transfer in the office under local anesthesia from her lower abdomen to her scar. In the after photo you can see the discoloration/depression is gone. She is quite happy with her result as her natural volume has been restored.
