Direct Neck Lift Case 5

Gender
Male
Age
60's

Description

This patient in his early 60s was bothered by his neck. He also wanted to have minimal downtime given his work requirements. Therefore, the direct neck incision was performed. This is usually reserved for males as the thicker beard skin tends to camouflage the incision much better. As you can see in the before photo how much skin he had hanging down below his neck. In the after photo, you can see how much better defined his neck looks. His incision is pink at this early stage and will continue to fade as time goes on. Given the limited downtime and the great improvement, this patient is very pleased with his results. Furthermore, this procedure is performed under local anesthesia in the office and takes a little over an hour to perform. There is also minimal downtime and most patients are back at work within about 2-3 days
