The Embrace RF is a cutting edge technology that is designed to contour the face and tighten the skin. The Embrace RF takes advantage of two different technologies to maximize results and minimize downtime. The first technology utilizes bipolar radiofrequency applied both to the surface of the skin and below the skin. It is known that temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius below the skin will cause tightening and fat removal. The FaceTite component of Embrace RF utilizes small incisions behind the ears and below the chin to deliver the energy that is constantly monitored for safety by the device itself. This makes it a safer option compared to other treatments like smart lipo or ThermiTite. In addition, the Embrace RF uses the Morpheus8 which combines microneedling with radiofrequency to further tighten the skin. Both Morpheus8 microneedling and FaceTite can be performed in isolation, but the results tend to be more dramatic when combined.

The Embrace RF does not replace a face lift which is the gold standard for facial rejuvenation. What it does offer is impressive results with only a few days of downtime and no large incisions that would need to heal. The average downtime of the Morpheus 8 microneedling with radiofrequency is about 48 hours and for the FaceTite subdermal tightening is about 4 to 5 days. There are some immediate benefits with most of the result seen by 6 weeks and the true final result at one year, similar to other surgical procedures. The Morpheus 8 doesn’t replace the use of other facial resurfacing techniques but it does offer much less downtime which is very helpful to many patients.

Another benefit of this system is that it can be used to help with unwanted submental fat (double chin) but also tighten the skin. In patients above 35, isolated liposuction is not a great option because of the lax skin. Combining the Embrace RF can offer the best option by helping to tighten the skin in combination with liposuction or to help correct liposuction done elsewhere.
