This patient had fallen and hit her upper lip. She had not sought care until 2 days later and had developed an infection. This left the resulting scar you see in the before photo. Dr. Guy performed two separate surgical procedures as part of a staged approach to revise her scar. The reason is you cannot make incisions completely around this area in one surgery as it would have affected blood supply to the area. With two surgeries. Dr. Guy was able to revise the entire scar area. In the after photos you can see how her upper lip is no longer an eye catcher and appears completely natural.
