Reconstruction Case 2

Gender
Male

Description

This patient in his mid 60s had a large skin cancer removed from his chin using Mohs’ surgery. He was referred to Dr. Guy for reconstruction given the size and location. In his after photo he is three months out from surgery. Although the incision lines are visible given the original size and location of his cancer, his defect was able to be closed in the office under local anesthetic in a single setting. As time goes on, the pink of the incisions will resolve making the incision lines even less noticeable.
