Facelift and Neck Lift Case 72

Gender
Female
Age
50's

Description

This patient in her mid-50s had a facelift elsewhere. She was bothered by the appearance of her ear(called a Pixie ear deformity) and a pleat just below her earlobe. These are both related to the techniques used by her previous surgeon. She did have a little recurrence of sagging in her neck and jowls so she wanted to see what improvement we could get. She underwent a revision check and necklift, commonly called a lower facelift. In the after photo, you can see how her earlobe now hangs in a natural position (as opposed to being pulled down on the face as a Pixie ear) and the pleat in front of her ear is gone. The jawline is also a little more defined from the lift. She is quite pleased in the after photo taken 8 months postoperatively
